Differentiation between actual Brand Name and Keywords in Search Results and Email Digest#147

?

Can we differentiate between a regular keyword and BRAND NAME?

For example, let’s say my company name is ACME and we make cars.

  1. Acme <– my COMPANY NAME is keyword #1

but then I also want to monitor some keywords to track who’s talking about my industry or possible link targets so I’ll monitor these as well:

  1. best cars
  2. best widgets for cars
  3. amazing carmaker

As you can see, the mentions will be diluted because I won’t be able to isolate from the thousands of results which one actually mentioned my company, and which were just keywords I was monitoring - actually brand vs. just a keyword term.

Furthermore, it would be nice to have the email digest also separate by the results by the actual keyword within. For example:

ACME (* brand name) <– this is most important for a brand as it’s their actual company being mentioned. So these should be separated from non-brand keywords.

  • result 1
  • result 2
  • result 3

BEST CARS (keyword)

  • result 1
  • result 2
  • result 3

BEST WIDGET FOR CARS (keyword)

  • result 1
  • result 2
  • result 3

etc.

Thank you.

Tks for the feedback. You mean like automatically applying a tag with the monitored keyword and showing only those mentions?

At the moment you can do something similar. You can create a segment and have the system send the alerts only for that specific segment.
